Farmer’s Market
Michell’s Farm Market is looking to add team players who have a passion for local food to our team.
We’re immediately hiring for part time and/or full time positions.
Retail/customer service experience an asset, but not mandatory. If you’ve got a positive attitude and are willing to learn some new things we’d love to hear from you.
What will you be doing working at Michell’s Farm Market?
A little bit of everything! There are a variety of tasks through out the day including (but not limited to):
-Excellent customer service and cashiering, operating cash registers/POS device.
-Answering customer phone calls.
-Prepping and stocking/merchandising produce and other products.
-Rotating and culling produce to ensure quality standards are upheld.
-Working and collaborating with a team ensuring shelves are full and nicely presented in a fast paced environment
-You’ll need to be able to safely lift 50 pounds (produce boxes), and handling/loading bales of hay, unloading and organizing deliveries
-Ensuring overall cleanliness of the market is maintained.
-Following Covid-19 protocols and health and safety procedures
-Occasionally helping harvest produce.

-weekend availability required (We do our best to give all our employees at least one weekend day off per week)
We are conveniently located along the Lochside trail, and the bus route.
