Course Description

Health and Safety Caregiving equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care. The course covers infection prevention and control, personal hygiene, safe lifting and mobility assistance, medication awareness, and emergency response procedures.

Learners will also study hazard identification, risk assessment, workplace safety practices, and the importance of maintaining a safe environment for both caregivers and care recipients. Emphasis is placed on dignity, professionalism, and quality care delivery.
