Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative to join a logistics team based in Stretford. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and equipment between sites, ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding excellent service standards. You'll be on the road 3 days per week, and assisting in the warehouse 2 days per week.

Please note, this role DOES involve heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely collect and deliver goods to designated locations across the UK.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures.
• Load and unload items with care, ensuring proper handling.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues promptly.
• Assist with warehousing duties, including putting together bulk orders of items.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid UK driver's licence (maximum of 3 penalty points).
• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is desirable.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
• Physically able to handle goods of varying sizes and weights safely.
